Ohhhhhhh. Do I assume correctly this one is totally kapot, Peter?! I'd love to know where it is. What a find...especially since I LOVE windmills.

@Ginnie: No Ginnie, it's not "kapot"at all. Look at: .This one is quite a new one I foud in Natuurgebied "De Weer ribben" in the neighborhood of Giethoorn. Its is a small mill, about 3 mrts in height.

Astrid just looked at this with me, Peter, and she explained to me how it works. So now i know. I've not seen it yet here in The Netherlands. Astrid says she's not seen one either, but since we plan to be in that area one day, we'll look for it. WOW! Thanks for the explanation.
